Fly the Coop

Any dental offices that do any photo enhancements are probably familiar with Photoshop. Anyone that has used, though, knows it's expensive and difficult to master. There are many online photo editors that are easy to learn and cheap. Aviary is one that seems to have a lot of great tools and is worth checking out. The free version is fine for most people, but at just $9.99/month, the Pro version has some great features that might make it more attractive to folks with more advanced needs.

    What about Paint.net? (http://www.getpaint.net)

    Or Gimp?

Both are free, open-source, and more powerful than the average user needs.

What does the paid version of Aviary offer that these two don't?

+1 on gimp, in my opinion a little easier to use than Photoshop, and of course free.

Haven't tried Aviary yet but seems worth checking out.
