A New Storm is Brewing
The phone that I've been waiting for is finally here. I've been a Blackberry addict for years but my thumb really doesn't like the side thumbwheel very much. The first touchscreen Blackberry, the Storm, goes on sale today, and even better is that's from my current provider, Verizon Wireless. I'll have a full report once I have a chance to actually buy one :-)

They were completely sold out when I got to the Verizon store in my town, and apparently so is the warehouse. I tried out the demo, though. Screen doesn't vibrate when you type; the whole screen clicks in and out a bit like a giant mouse button. As much as I hate to say it, Apple still has the better product here. But if you want Verizon's better reception, this might be the next best thing.
