ADA Recap
My annual ADA Recap is coming out in my newsletter later today. If you're not currently subscribed, go to my web page and you can sign up there for free. For those of you who'd like an early taste, here's my Product of the Show:
This is an interesting story. I had spent about 4 hours walking up and down the aisles, checking out all the products and services. When I walk the aisles, I’m always thinking about which of them might qualify for this honor, as I’m hard to impress and I don’t give this award easily. And, frankly, after 4 hours, I was underwhelmed. So, I went over to talk to my friends at the Magna Vu booth and decided to sit in the dental stool that they had in their booth. The same dental stool that has been there for two years and I never noticed it before. Oh. My. God. This stool is incredible! It’s called The Health Chair and it was easily the most comfortable chair I’ve ever sat in. Keep in mind that I’ve always been a bit of a chair snob, as I’m currently on my second Herman Miller Aeron chair…but I’ve just found my new chair. While it has full support for your back and arms, what I liked about it was that there were so few button and controls to get the chair to support you in the optimal position. I could have sat in that chair all day (and believe me, I was tempted). They make different models for both the dentist/assistant as well as the front office.
The chairs range in price from $1295 to $1795. I had a chance to meet the developer, who also happens to be a dentist and fellow USC grad, and got him to agree to give anyone who reads this newsletter a 10% discount if they click on this link or just call and mention my name. With people looking for Schedule 179 deductions, this would be a great investment in your health and the health of your staff. A very deserving recipient this year of my 2008 ADA Product of the Show.
