Windows 98...R.I.P.

At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Boston yesterday, Microsoft officially announced that they are no longer supporting Windows 98 or ME. Considering that the program came out 8 years ago, it had a good run, but they will no longer be providing any support, including security upgrades. If you've been on 98, it's time to change (and, most likely, get new hardware as well). You can read about the decision on many different web sites; here's just one.
