Teleseminar Part 2
Thanks to all who have signed up to the Teleseminar next week. Response has been absolutely overwhelming and I hope to be able to answer as many questions as time permits. I won't be able to get to all of them, but I'm working with the organizer of this event to work out ways to make sure that everyone has their questions answered in one way or another.
I also wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Dentrix. Sending out emails, developing the teleseminar, offering specials to attendees...these all take time and unfortunately, money. I'm thrilled that Dentrix has agreed to offset my expenses and that they have the vision to see the benefits of this technology. And don't worry, the teleseminar won't be a 70-minute ad for them or any other companies. I will only be answering questions that were submitted to me.
See you all there!

Hi Lorne,
Would there be a downloadable MP3 file so that if I miss a portion of the event, I could download it and replay it on my computer/Shuffle/Ipod?
Thanks,
John

I know as a fact it's being recorded, John. Not sure if it will be MP3 format like the podcast I did, but I'll find out.

Lorne, here's another question you may want to address in your teleseminar: Will digital records and radiographs stand up in court as being unalterable? How is this done? Current paper records and film radiographs cannot be altered without leaving a trace. Can the same be said with digital records?
Thanks,
John

We've already had 74 questions submitted, John, so I'm not sure if I'll have time to answer that one. Almsot every image program has some way to save images in an unalterable format. Apteryx uses STB (Secure Tag Block), others use watermarks, but almost every one will aloow you to save images that would hold up in court.
